My Abstract Gallery
Paintings by Paula Miller
Thank you for visiting My Abstract Gallery.
My inspiration is my Mother, Anna (Nancy) Miller, who began painting late in her life. She followed in the footsteps of her Aunts, who were recognized for their contributions to the art community. My other inspiration is Mark Rothko who paid great attention to color, shape, balance, depth, composition, and scale. When you view Rothko's paintings, they change in front of you -- in both shape and meaning. His paintings open the door to imagination. I hope mine will do that, as well.
I'm grateful for the opportunity to paint and for the encouragement to show my work. I'm pleased to donate 30% of the sale price of each painting to Pagosa Animals Advocates or Texas Humane Legislation Network (buyer's choice). To date, we have donated close to $500 to these organizations.
Thank you for visting my website. Enjoy!
